About Our Chapter

The Georgia Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi was founded on February 2nd, 1939. Since then, the women of Georgia Alpha have been making memories and making an impact on our campus. Our members are involved in countless activities including Panhellenic Council, UGA Miracle, Younglife, SGA, Shop with a Bulldog, Freshley, Food 2 Kids, and many more. Our mission is to promote friendship, develop women of intellect and integrity, cultivate leadership potential and enrich lives through community service.

A Letter From The President

Welcome to Pi Beta Phi at the University of Georgia! My name is Khloe Parham, and I currently serve as the Chapter President. On behalf of the members of the Georgia Alpha Chapter, we welcome you to our website. Whether you’re just browsing our page out of curiosity, looking for devoted sisterhood, or wanting to learn more about  “Pi Phi”, I encourage you to take a look and see what it truly means to be a member of the Georgia Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi.

When I look back over my time as a Pi Phi there is one word that comes to mind: Gratitude. This chapter has brought me friendships that are built to last a lifetime, my most cherished memories, and the guidance to persevere in any situation. The women I am lucky enough to be surrounded by each day are driven, compassionate, and dedicated to serving those around them. It is my biggest honor to have the opportunity to lead a  chapter which has poured so much into me over the last three years. This chapter rallies around each other through the hard times and the best of times alike and has shown me the greatest level of compassion and love.

Coming into recruitment, I was looking for a group of women who were equally as dedicated to each other as they were to this community. I quickly found that in Pi Phi. Here, we value sincere friendship, integrity, and lifelong commitment.  This group of women has continually pushed me to grow while never letting me forget that it is also the place I can turn to when I fail. This chapter is full of women who let their kindness and uniqueness shine in every aspect of their lives. They are dedicated to enriching the lives of others through service and friendship.

My advice to you, no matter where your college experience takes you, is to surround yourself with a group of people where you can be authentically yourself. To focus on the times of joy but to find people who will sit with you through your sorrows too. In four years, you will look back and realize you are no longer the person you were when you first set foot on UGA’s campus. Rather than that, you are braver and stronger, and that the people along the way helped you get there. Pi Phi has given all of  this to me and I could not be more thankful to say that wherever I go I will always have a home in Pi Phi.

“I will never be able to give back to Pi Phi what Pi Phi has given me.”

Pi Phi Love & Mine,
Khloe Parham
